Peaceful mind, Happy LifeHappiness is the one thing we all want most in life, the one thing most of us will or have spent a good deal of our time searching for. In fact, I’m willing to bet that you are looking for happiness right now. If so, I hate to be the one to enlighten you but you’re never going to find it. The fact that any of us are searching for happiness means that we don’t really understand happiness quite yet. The reason you will not find happiness is because it cannot be found, to have it you must make your own. "A calm and modest life brings more happiness then the constant pursuit of success combined with constant restlessness" Albert Einstein. Einstein himself who is arguably the smartest man who ever lived says that a peaceful mind and a peaceful life is the key to happiness. This goes against many of our ideas about happiness in our society. We're constantly trying to get this and get that and people tell us that we have work and strive if you want to be happy.
Say that a young boy wanted these new Jordan’s . He craved these shoes, he thought and believed he needed them. He started comparing his sneakers to these Jordan's. He started seeing everybody with them. Then one day his mother finally bought them for him and he was so happy. Now think about this question. Did the Jordan's make him happy or was it the release form the craving for the shoes that made him happy? Well I have to say that it's the release that made him happy. There's nothing in shoes that can make you happy. We often think it shoes, clothes, awards or money that make us happy. But it’s not that, because you could have all the money, live in an expensive home or apartment, have everything you want at your fingertips and still be unhappy. It's not true when they tell you that money buys happiness. Money is not the answer to happiness. Soo let's take note of the wisdom of Albert Einstein. Stop and smell the roses and try to live a calm and modest life. Empty your mind and give yourself a rest, think positive thoughts and most of all let there be peace in your mind. That way you might be just one step closer to happiness. |
