Working to Live?In this chaotic way we’re living everything goes by so fast, were always busy. We all need time to get away from the race. To be with our family and friends, to take care our own selves. Every so often it’s time to pause and recharge. So now just ask yourself, how many vacations did you ‘almost’ take? How many sights and places have you almost seen? How many moments have you lost while thinking about the next one, and how doing this or getting that would make that moment the best one. You should stop and take in each moment because all we will ever have is now. What has passed will never come again and what’s in the future we don’t know and can never predict. It’s not doing something radical, but how about taking small steps first. Short trips with long dances and no distractions. Spending more time with family and friends, on the beach licking the sun or traveling the earth, instead of spending it in the office traveling from desk to desk, buried in paperwork. The most precious things we have in life are moments, so take a firm hold and make the most of them before they disappear, see the world while you still can, and cherish those you love while their still here. Because when our lives are almost over it won’t matter how much money we made, or how many hours we worked or how many times we got employee of the month. What you would look back to are the memories you’ve made; and the hours you’ve spent with those you love. It can’t be all downhill from here
If you can one day learn to; Have the courage to change The things you can change, Or the decency to accept The things you just cannot One day you might live to tell the story; How you had the wisdom To know the difference. For yesterday is just a dream, But tomorrow is still a vision. But you must only live for today. I know the road me be rugged And the hills a bit too high, but If you just have faith in your heart Just look upward, and climb Until you reach your dream. |
